Halloween Swap for Cobi

This is my first fabric ATC swap! I have made some mixed media cards with a basically paper base in the past but this is the first I would truly call a fabric ATC.

I couldn't help myself once I got started, I made TWO!

The centre fabric is a 1930's reproduction print from a series designed by Judie Rothermill (sp?) depicting a theme for each month of the year. This one is for Halloween!

The cards are finished with some machine stitching, hand stitching and a small owl charm.

The fabric on the backs of the cards is a Debbie Mumm print - pumpkins, of course!

I am happy to trade this second card with anyone who would like to swap...First in the comments, best dressed!

Halloween ATC for Lorna

This is my ATC for Lorna. It took forever to reach her but I'm glad it arrived before Halloween!
This is a fabric fusion background and the colors in the fabric are wool roving I bought last month at a local bluegrass festival. The colors worked perfectly for the fall themes I've been constructing lately. The cat is made of bullions and the beadwork is Ogallala stitch. This was fun to do.

Halloween ATC for Maria Clara

Here is the ATC I have made for Maria Clara - I posted it this morning (Wednesday 7th Oct) so hopefully it should arrive well in time for Halloween. I had embroidered the little ghost on a whim, and didn't put any thought into the way I cut it out, so when it came to using it on something, I fiddled around for hours with fabrics. Still didn't get it right! The moon is kind of upside down but again, the piece of fabric was a certain shape and I couldn't do much with it. The stitching is wobbly because I'd been doing a lot of typing and stitching earlier, so my hands were aching by the time I got to this!
Well, after all that, my friends who got to see it before I put it in the envelope, all thought it was cute, so I hope Maria agrees!
